Hi there, I am needing to know if the EG4 XP6000 paired with my Lifepower LL will be provided a new model number and UL 9540 designation as a ESS system. At present, in Ontario my ESA tech will be needing paperwork as above to allow me to install and power my small cabin. Before I spend a lot of funds on panels and electrical work, I need to know when and how my owned system will be certified to UL 9540. In a recent video on YouTube with signature solar, a rep from EG4 was interviewed and reported that it would be this year. Can you provide any updates on this? Thanks

Based on the "EG4 Systems Battery Wiring Diagrams 2.0" document on the EG4 website, It would seem like they are only getting the certification for the 280ah indoor wall battery.

As of this morning, the EG4 website does not have the 9540 cert on their website. However the listing did just appear this morning on the Intertek product listing website. The entries with formatting "PP-48-280A1-12KXP1-IN-" and "PP-48-280A6-6KXP1-IN-" are new and would appear to be for the 12000xp and 6000xp. Again, this would be for the larger 280AH indoor wall battery only.

@paddymc Can you provide the link for the YouTube video?

I’ll look into this and confirm. At this time, I don’t have any updates on the 6000XP being UL9540 certified with certain batteries for an ESS system.
