I'm trying to I achieve the following scenario that would seem to minimize my electric costs by optimizing use of PV output, TOU rates, and stored power… I have a GridBoss, 2 FlexBoss21, and 6 Wall Mount Indoor batteries all connected in parallel with one inverter as the master… PV is 39 SunPower SPR-X21-335-BLK-C-AC Solar Modules (13,065 W DC) with Enphase microinverters connected as 3 strings of 12 and 1 string of 3… The PV is connected to the FlexBoss21 Load Ports per https://eg4electronics.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/EG4-How-to-AC-Couple-on-Load-Port-w-EG4-Hybrid-Inverter-and-GridBOSS.pdf simply because of the separation between the GridBoss and FlexBoss21's and the lack of additional conduit space between them… 2 strings of 12 into 1 inverter load port and the remained in the other inverter load port… What would be the recommended configuration settings to achieve the following given: • TOU Super Economy roughly 12am-4am • Sun Hours roughly 9am-5pm (although varies by season, of course) • No excess PV ever sent to the grid 1. TOU Super Economy end to Sun Hours start (i.e., 4am-9am) a. No charging b. Battery powered loads c. No grid usage except at minimum SOC or load exceeds battery/inverter capability 2. Sun Hours (i.e., 9am-5pm) a. AC Coupled Flexboss21 Load Port (or DC PV input or AC Coupled Smart Port) priority to charge the batteries or power loads b. Battery and/or PV powered loads c. No grid usage except at minimum SOC or load exceeds battery/inverter capability 3. After Sun Hours to TOU Super Economy start (i.e., 5pm-12am) a. Battery powered loads b. No grid usage except at minimum SOC or load exceeds battery/inverter capability 4. TOU period Super Economy start to TOU Super Economy end (i.e., 12am-4am) a. Charge batteries at maximum rate to achieve 100 SOC at TOU Super Economy end b. Grid powered loads Based on my introductory understanding of the Working Mode Settings it seems like AC Charge Mode during TOU Super Economy, Self Consumption Mode after Sun Hours to TOU Super Economy and after TOU Super Economy to Sun Hours Start... Not sure about during Sun Hours because the AC Coupling of PV to the Load port seems to require AC Charge Mode to charge from the AC PV Input... The problem is I want to charge from that Load port input but NOT grid input..." target="_blank" rel="noopener" https://eg4electronics.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/EG4-How-to-AC-Couple-on-Load-Port-w-EG4-Hybrid-Inverter-and-GridBOSS.pdf /a> simply because of the separation between the GridBoss and FlexBoss21's and the lack of additional conduit space between them… 2 strings of 12 into 1 inverter load port and the remainder to the other inverter load port… What would be the recommended configuration settings to achieve the following given:
