I recently updated to ccaa-1E1414 and now have "Battery Update" option on the monitoring site.

I like the idea of being able to update my batteries via the monitor site, but I am wondering if there is some information on how to perform the task using the monitor center?

1 - What is the process?

2 - Does it work with multiple batteries?

3 - Does it show what the current firmware is?

4 - Is there any place to view the changelog like the "Remote" update tab has?

5 - Does this do both 485 and 232 updates?

On a related note:  My batteries are 280AH indoor wall mount.  I was browsing the EG4 website to see what the newest firmware is and I no longer see the 280AH in wall mount battery listed.

Would I look at the 280AH all-weather battery for firmware updates?

Thanks for all the help,

JB

Sometimes the easiest solution is the best solution.
Sometimes not.

I tried it.

The 280AH was listed so gave it a shot - Soft bricked the BMS and SS even remotely could not restore it. Only local RS 232 and RS 485 updated made it work again.

1 - What is the process? - DO NOT Do It

2 - Does it work with multiple batteries? - I doubt

3 - Does it show what the current firmware is? - YES, but it was wrong one - not the one listed in EG4 website

4 - Is there any place to view the changelog like the "Remote" update tab has? - not aware of

5 - Does this do both 485 and 232 updates? - I think so - it bricked both BMS and Display in my case

The 280AH was listed  a month ago so gave it a shot - Soft bricked the BMS and SS even remotely could not restore it. Only local RS 232 and RS 485 updated made it work again. - see my other post.
