i was wondering if anyone has any experience with this unit and HF radio noise being generated from the switching transistors, my location is very quiet for HF noise and i don't want to introduce it,
should i stick with a low frequency device? does anyone use this unit with ham radio equipment ?

Hi Anthony. I have a strong interest in this topic, so I’ll share my experience. It’s not specifically with the 12K XP, but with the 6K XP.
My station is completely off-grid and operated fully remotely using Flex radios. I have about 4 kW of PV and 15 kWh of LiFePO4 battery capacity. The main tower is approximately 60 ft from the shack, where the solar system is located.
After trying Growatt, Sunbeat, and RUiXU inverters, I settled for a while on the EG4 6000XP. Of those, it produced the least RFI. However, I still had annoying “hills,” as they appeared on the panadapter, that slowly drifted up and down the bands. I confirmed the source was the PV section because they disappeared whenever I turned off the PV breaker.
I tried large Palomar Engineers Mix 31 toroids on the PV and AC output cables, along with snap-on ferrites on the battery cables. Unfortunately, these measures provided very little improvement, if any.
Eventually, I paid the higher price for a Sol-Ark 12K EMP-Hardened model, and it is considerably quieter than the 6000XP. I can still see a few narrow carriers on 15 meters, but they are stationary and I can easily work around them. That is my current inverter.
One other piece of information that may be useful: I emailed EG4, Sol-Ark, Megarevo, Sunbeat, and Solis asking about their RFI/EMI characteristics and specifically which of their models were the quietest in terms of EMI.
EG4 was the only company that replied.
They didn’t provide much useful technical information, but they did say they were willing to “review the case” if RFI became an issue.

Thanks for the kind response, i was wondering about those others.
I'm in between the 12k XP and Growatt SPF-4000-12000T DT 12kw low frequency inverter, just to stay away from the high frequency switching transistors. the heavy weight don't bother me but the noise does.
So if i get this straight the DC panels are making the noise? or the MPPT built in the inverter is?
I guess the simplest thing to do is stick with the low frequency inverter and charge the batts with a victron MPPT, this way i can swap the MPPT's out for something else if i have RFI. it my be a better way to identify the RFI. it's more hardware and old school and more devices to keep track of but the HF noise i can do without.
Any other bands with noticeable RFI noise beside 15m? i know that's a hard ask this time of year. but it's very quiet at my place in NH.
