I've been having some confusing charging behavior with my 18kpv over the last week that I can't quite figure out. Take yesterday for instance, panels were in full sun but solar was only offsetting the load but not charging the battery. Since I know this was working in Off Grid mode, I switched that on and it immediately began charging the battery while offsetting load as shown on the chart below at 12:26pm. With no other changes, why would this correct the behavior?
I have been reading on other forums that many people are running into this same problem. Works in "Off Grid" mode, but with "Off Grid" off and Zero Export on it will only power loads and not charge the battery from PV unless you set PV Priority to battery (which is opposite of what I want)
Update: Leaving it in Off Grid mode resulted in the same problem the next morning. Switching Off Grid off or on though didn't change anything and I had to restart the inverter to get the batteries charging again off pv.
I am on the latest firmware. I don't believe this was happening before my last firmware update though.
