Question Comms question for 2 flexboss21 and 2 wall mount batteries

I am installing a system with 2 EG4 FlexBoss21 inverters and 2 EG4 wall mount batteries. I have a network cable running from inverter 1 to inverter 2 and from inverter 1 to battery 1. I also have a network cable running from battery 1 to battery 2. My question is whether or not I should have a network cable from inverter 2 to battery 2. Would this give added redundancy or just confuse the inverters about which one should control what? I've looked through what I could find online and could not find an answer. They show how to run the power wires and connect the batteries to each other and to both inverters but there is nothing I could find on the network cabling. Thanks.
