I have a basic setup - EG4 18KPV and 280AH battery plus some solar capacity. My Grid connected breaker panel is connected to the 18KPV Grid input and important loads are tied into a secondary breaker panel and connected to the 18KPV Load output. My CTs are connected as recommended - between my utility meter and my main grid connected panel. I am running Self consumption mode with Off-Grid mode enabled. I do NOT Sell back to my utility. My large and non-critical loads are connected to my grid connected breaker panel and always use utility/grid energy.
The monitor program shows power from Solar and/or Battery going to my Backup Power(EPS) output with zero power coming from the Grid (to feed important "load" outputs). I would like the EG4 monitor program to also track energy consumed by non-important loads as fed from the grid that is occurring at the same time. The CTs are connected and could monitor this grid usage. I looked "Data Usage" hoping CT power was tracked, but it is not. Maybe it is recorded somewhere and someone can help me find it.
I believe that it could track grid consumption because, when I run low on battery, my 18KPV inverter switches over to feed important loads from the grid input and during that time the monitor program records and plots ALL energy consumed as read at CTs - both important loads and grid-only connected loads.

My post did not generate much interest. Basically, with the CTs already in place, I was hoping to track grid use daily and monthly to compare with my utility bill all from within the monitor app instead of purchasing a separate energy monitor device.
My suggestion also had a question - is CT current monitored and logged somewhere that i could extract it? I would appreciate it if someone from EG4 might comment.

@solar2025 I think "consumption" is the value you are looking for from the monitor website/software . As long as your CT's are above the main breaker or on the bus bar you should see all watts used.
That said I do not know how accurate the CT's are . I compare usage from my utility provider to data on monitor site and there is about 5-10% difference in both directions . To me it is a wash , doubt I could convince my utility provider their meter is inaccurate .

Put your system in offgrid mode - you can see your covered loads in data
you can also see grid feed power and how much went to charge the battery
all grid feed power other than battery charge would be your grid tied usage

@jckemp3 I am always in offgrid mode. Today since midnight all reported consumption was provided by battery and/or solar. The monitor app reported zero Import and the PtoUser in data history reports 0 all day. This is all accurate when considering the 18KPV "Load outputs". Yet while all this was doing its offgrid thing, my grid/utility was operating our range/oven independently through my grid tied breaker panel where the CTs are located. The CTs would have been seeing that grid current flow but it is not logged anywhere so far as I can find.
This is where I hope someone can help find the data points.

CTs are between the meter and the main grid panel.
@solar2025 I do not think in off-grid mode there is a way to see the grid tie loads, someone from EG4 will have to confirm if that is correct.

If you have the Ct's located between the meter and the main panel, you will be getting the readings of any power coming and going to the grid.
You can export the data directly from the EG4 Monitoring site. Go to Data → Energy, then select “EnergyFromGrid(kWh)”. At the top, select Month, and then click Export in the top-right corner.
@eg4eric Actually that is not the way my 18KPV is operating.
When I run out of battery capacity and there is insufficient solar (night) my system switches to grid supply and the 18KPV does indeed track ALL energy in from the grid feeding my critical load panel (load output off 18KPV) PLUS energy consumed at my grid panel where the CTs are connected.
BUT, when my 18KPV switches back to EPS OFF grid mode (Solar and Battery available) my 18KPV stops tracking grid energy feeding my grid panel even though consumption is occurring. EnergyFromGrid data logging drops to Zero - see red pen below. I have an old TED5000 energy monitor with its CTs clipped right next to the EG4 Cts and it is properly reading grid usage.
This is the reason for my request.

If Off-Grid mode is enabled on your system, I don't believe it will read any data from the CTs, since the relay is open and the system is not connected to the grid.
Understood. As an enhancemet suggestion, I would like that data to be collected and displayed under the Data section, Energy tab. The relays may be open but the CTs are still connected. The Monitor still displays the voltage so it has access somehow.

I do run in Self-Consumption mode. The reason I select Off-Grid mode is because it is the only way to guarantee that the 18KPV does NOT supply to the grid. Disabling Grid Sell and enabling Fast Zero Export does not always behave itself and will supply the grid panel. I do not have a grid sell agreement with my utility so I want to ensure Zero. In off-grid mode the grid relays are open, except when I need some supplemental energy from the grid.
