I am really not up for installing another app on my phone ...
nearly a year ago someone wrote "... This morning I was able to set up 2 eg4 12k BTU units on the smart life app by volcano. It does show both AC and PV input and all buttons on the app are functional. I'm very pleased because the recommended app was non functional for me. ..."
