Just finished my install of a 12k hybrid system running on solar only but tested with AC as well. The app shows the system only pulls 120w max from solar and about 100w max from AC when I shut the solar off. Even in turbo mode with the cooling set to 61 degrees it just blows room temperature air and doesn't throw any error codes at all. Tried heating mode set to 90 degrees as well and it still just blows room temp. I leak tested all the connections while opening the valves on the outdoor unit and didn't have any bubbles. I also have a refrigerant sniffer handy from working on vehicle HVAC systems and it didn't detect anything at any of the joints in the system so I don't think it's a refrigerant problem. Anybody have any ideas or did I just get a lemon and I'll have to RMA it?

Any update to this?  I'm having the exact issue with my just-installed EG4 12k.

Your unit is not blowing hot or cold air?

@eg4eric Correct, it's blowing room temperature air.  Both high and low side lines are air temperature.

@user11 Are you getting any error codes on the inside unit?

The best solution would be to reach out to your distributor and possibly get a replacement unit.

No error codes nor any odd noises.  My other 2 units work perfectly.

Does the outside unit turn on at all?

I understand you mentioned not detecting anything at the system joints, but did you confirm that both refrigerant valves are fully open?

Refrigerant valves are both fully open, and both inside and outside units are working.
