Question 6000XP Bypass Mode question

What setting controls when the 6000XP resumes using power from batteries (and exiting bypass mode) as solar power continues to charge? Overnight the batteries drained till the EOD Cutoff voltage correctly. It's now in bypass mode, but I'm not sure when it's supposed to resume using power from the batteries and what setting controls that.

I’m using open loop communication to charge Lithium batteries

I found the answer on my own... you *can't* change the setting yet. It's listed in the "technical specs" for the inverter.

The spec is listed as: 
LOW DC CUT-OFF RETURN VOLTAGE (LEAD-ACID)

And the value is really confusing:

Situation: CUT-OFF VOLTAGE@LOAD <20% ≥45V    Result: Low DC Cut-Off Voltage @load <20% +3V
Situation: CUT-OFF VOLTAGE@LOAD <20% <45V    Result: 48V

Though really I'm having a really tough time understanding this. Is the "situation" side talking about the setting? Or about the voltage as the batteries are re-charging? Or about the conditions when it *entered* cut-off mode? Or something else?

In practice, I have my cut-off voltage set to 41 and it seems to cut off appropriately and seems to return to using the batteries some where in the 43-44v range.

@dannybeardsley ,

*most* LFP battery internal BMS will low-voltage alarm and protect themselves at 44 v. I would suggest you set your inverter LV cutoff no lower than 45 or 46 to catch it before the battery BMS over-rides it. Then, when the inverter goes back to running on battery you are in the 48-49 v range of the curve that isn't so steep and won't bounce on/off with loads as long as loads are < PV coming in.

Apologies for the delayed response. The inverter should automatically switch back to battery power once the battery voltage is at least +3V or the SOC is +10% above the Discharge Cutoff SOC/Voltage.

@eg4eric Thanks, is there anyway this could be added as a requested feature. It would be convenient if the inverter could turn itself back on at EOD +2.5v.

Another option, and it may be alot more complicated. However, it would be very cool if when pv wattage maintains 1000+ watts more than the backup load for 10 minutes, the inverter could lower the turn on threshold down to EOD +2v.
