As of now, you need to manually change the DST setting in the system. I will submit a request to our engineers to enable automatic time updates in the future.

your question:

"Does engineering expect us to go in on Sunday and "turn on DST" (on every machine we manage)?"

the answer:

"YES"

From my experience the DST on/off settings is just the manual switch to DST - no automation whatsoever. Just like DST button on $10 programmable timer which advances the device clock one hour ahead. Its's a pity that such advance piece of EG4 electronics does not have anything better than that.

Just my 5 cents....

This is both a follow-up to my other topic posted yesterday regarding understanding Monitoring Data and a continuation of this topic.  I live in Phoenix, AZ and we do not do DST.  I had the time and DST settings set accordingly.  DST started Sunday, 3/8/26 at 2AM.  My system somehow changed my settings to DST on the 18th.  In looking at the download data for 3/8, if DST had been on, I would have expected there to be a jump from the 01:56:24 record to a 03:00:25 record.  There was no jump.  I do not see any data issues until the 19th and 20th.   The 19th starts with 00:15:54 and 00:01:xx.  It is also showing day totals for all the "day" fields until the first 1AM record.  The 20th downloaded data has the exact same issue.

The missing hour of data is on the 18th.  The data jumps from 20:57:00 to 22:01:00.  So that would appear to be when the "glitch" took place and my settings got changed.  So why did my 19th and 20th data get messed up between Midnight and 1 AM? Both days are also missing records from 00:00:00 and 00:15:00.

I could understand a firmware glitch that resets the DST setting on DST start day, but not one that happens exactly at 10PM 10 days latter.
