I am having an issue with enabling the SMART LOAD feature of my system.  I have 2 - 6000XPs in parallel sharing 2 - 280Ah EG4 batteries in operation for over a year.  I have recently updated the firmware to the latest version.  The system works great until I enable SMART LOAD. If I enable smart load, some appliances in my home start to hum.  Specifically, the control transformer in my HVAC system will immediately hum and my kitchen microwave is extremely loud when in operation.  When I disable smart load, both the HVAC transformer and microwave act normally (after about 30 seconds).  The HVAC transformer will gradually reduce its hum to none after disabling smart load (after about 30 - 45 seconds).  As a test, I rewired the 6000XPs by disconnecting them from my house wiring and connected one small transformer to the LOAD terminals.  The same thing happens.  It is repeatable  and will start and stop the humming exactly with the enabling and disabling of the smart load feature.  I am looking for some help with this problem.  Thanks,

Since you have both inverters in parallel, do you know if you changed the Discharge current to 280?

Could you please share your inverter’s station name or serial number? I’d like to review some data to help identify what might be causing these issues for you.

@g0380 What transformer are you using for the HVAC?

@eg4eric  it's a small 120VAC to 24VAC transformer,  probably 40VA.  Initially I thought the problem was the transformer in the HVAC so I replaced it with a new one.  Same thing happens with the new one.

I wasn’t able to find any information on transformers being used with our inverters. Since this configuration hasn’t been tested, I don't have any information on how to troubleshoot this, but I can pass this along to our team for consideration and potential testing, but as of now, we don’t have any troubleshooting steps available for this setup.

@eg4eric thank you for passing it along, however I would like to stress that the problem is not limited to this one transformer.  Other appliances exhibit the humming noise such as my microwave oven only when Smart Load is enabled.

Are you able to share a video of this happening so we can work towards a solution for this?

@eg4eric Hi, I attached a video of the transformer in my furnace (left side of the frame).  You can hear when I enable SMART Load the hum is from that transformer (120VAC to 24VAC).  When SMART LOAD is disabled, the hum gradually vanishes after about a minute or less. Thank
