Setup: GridBOSS, FlexBOSS 21 with 18.4 kW CS TopCON panels
My contractor is installing a Revenue Grade Meter made by Solar Data Systems called the Solar Log 350. Apparently it is installed in between the inverter and the panel according to their documentation. A few questions:
- Thoughts on the above mentioned setup
- I did noticed EG4 just came out with an announcement of the Wattnode RGM but the docs state it is not supported if the GridBOSS is in the setup.
- If they use the Solar Log 350 as mentioned above and I have batteries attached to the FlexBOSS would it even read the energy produced if it goes directly to charging the batteries and never leaves the inverter?
As an additional note. I do plan to install another FlexBOSS inverter and split the PVs among the two FlexBOSS inverters in the future which means that with the Solar Log I would have to buy another one to go in between the second inverter and the GridBOSS
