Right now only the mobile app appears to have access to generator exercise which is strange in and of itself (when is the web interface getting it?)
But it also appears that you can't schedule generator exercise which kinda defeats the purpose. We should be able under the generator settings set time of day, and on what schedule (weekly (day of week), monthly (day number)) and then the inverter(s) should just do this automatically for the scheduled length of time.
Ok, but it isn't clear that that doesn't connect it. Gen Exercise should be starts the generator, runs it, confirms power to the terminals but doesn't link it in and continues normally.
So the terminology doesn't make sense (and it should be absolutely clear what it's doing)
And you should be able to schedule it.
I recently added solar panels to my house with GridBOSS and Inverter and Battery. I have a pre-existing generator. My installer didn't understand how to bring the Generator into the mix (rewire to use "two wire start" but I just got that squared away. Now I can go into the EG4 Monitor app and if I enable "Remote Start" I can get an exercise cycle. But...is there a method to automate the scheduling of the exercise cycle? Or, is it going to be a manual "Start GEN Exercise" every week?
