Hello,
Is there a way to order a Flexboss with only the components required to connect the batteries to the GridBoss? My solar panels will be AC coupled via microinverters. As such I have no need for the extra components in the current Flexboss.
In other words I am looking for a simplified Flexboss that only connects to the batteries and the Gridboss. This should save money and space.

The only major component you do not need is the MPPT to control the PV to DC bus conversion.
Not saving a huge amount by eliminating that component. It would increase production and inventory costs to have separate models (production runs) with and without specific components. Defeats the purpose of an All-in-one.

@diyrich please note there is an additional AC connection port no longer needed. Removing both the DC solar and AC port would undoubtedly lead to a simpler and smaller device.
