I am using an 18KPV inverter. I am using FORCED DISCHARGE during the Peak tariff period (2-6pm)of my local utility.
The inverter does not stop at the entered end time.
The only way I have found to stop the discharge is to add a charge period to book end the start and end times. So my question is why does the end time not stop the FORCED DISCHARGE. As a note, I am supplying power thru a back feed breaker to my main service panel to take some of the loads away from the grid supply.
Thanks for any help/insight.
Matt
Are you able to post a screenshot of your current settings so I can try to identity what could be causing the issue?
@eric
Those settings look correct. Are you able to share screenshots of the old setting pages so I can look at all the settings? Or you can also share your station name with me, and I can look at it that way.
Hello Eric,
The first 2 screen shots show the Forced Discharge being contained be the AC Charge times.
The second 2 screen shots show that Forced Discharge again being contained by the AC Charge times, but the Forced Discharge end setting is not stopping the discharge. In the second Working Mode Setting Graph it shows the Self Consumption time of 1 hour although the battery is still being discharged.

Thanks,

The reason it’s not stopping the discharge is that the system is configured to use the battery before the grid. To change this, you can enable- Battery Backup mode, which prioritizes grid usage over the battery—unless you have Force Discharge times set, which in your case, you do.
