so I spoke with tech support yesterday on my two batteries that have this issue. they immediately changed my 12000xp to lead acid to get it working again (work around) and then sent me a text message with a video called "EG4 48v lifepower4 batteries how to update firmware". Problem is in the video it shows EG4 mailing some dude a packet with a usb device to fix the problem. My tech only sent me the video and then hung up, nohting is being mailed to me. I have called back many times and just put on hold for ever and ever. anyone have suggestions or should I just buy the RS485 cable and hook my laptop on it and try that fix?
