I was helping a friend out with a firmware update on LL4 batteries.  Noticed that the LL4 batteries have Z02t## firmware numbering.

Does this mean that my indoor wallmount batteries have the LL4 BMS's?

What firmware should I be at?

Currently mine are listed as Z02T03.

@jared any news?

I have one older indoor wall battery with the Z02T01 BMS and also 2 newer indoor wall batteries with Z02T03 BMS version. I would like all of them to have the latest Z02T03 version or whatever is the latest.

There are 2 firmware updates for the indoor WallMount batteries. RS485=Z02T04 and RS232=S02T11. You will need both RS485 and RS232 cables for these updates.

@eric Here is a pic of what my battery currently indicates for firmware/LCD version

568 20241216171734

Do I need to update both the firmware and the LCD?  If so, could you tell me what these numbers should read after the update?

Thanks,

JB

PS, is there any documentation on what the changes are?

@joel-brodeur
There is a changelog for the RS232 update, but not for the RS485. You can update both, but you will not see the RS232 update unless you use tools. For example, as shown below,

The LCD version on the screen will stay the same. That would have to be a different update, but that update has not been released yet.
