I have had a client system with a 6000xp, and 6x Lifepower4, running open loop up and running for a couple years with no problems. BUT checking the system today, one of the 6 batteries has red LED alarm blinking, and will not reset with either reset button, or powering down breaker, waiting and turning breaker back on.

Q: is there a way to tell what alarm triggered (without comm cables since I am open loop)

Q: is there a way to force alarm to clear and reboot ?

Q: is it possible that internal BMS failed on one and not others making this a false alarm ?

Q: if the BMS failed, is it covered by warranty?, and how would I initiate a return/repair, or is there something I can check myself ?

If you have Lifepower4-V1 you can use BMS TEST, if you are using Lifepower4-V2 you can use BMS TOOLS to check what is causing the alarms.

No, there isn't.

It is possible for one battery to have a problem and not the rest.

It depends on the specific issue. However, the best first step is to troubleshoot the problem before considering a replacement. It might be something minor, such as unbalanced battery cells. If the problem is with the battery itself and not caused by user error, it is typically covered under warranty unless the issue falls within the Warranty Exclusions as shown in the image below.
