Hi there. Recently got my 12000XP up and running (actually have two, but haven’t brought the second online yet). Have it paired with 4 Ruixu Lithi 2-16 batteries. Battery firmware is on RX04 (the latest). 12000XP firmware is on ceaa-0405 (believe still the latest).

Ruixu batteries are set to “Luxpower” for inverter type. I have tried setting the 12000XP to “00 - General lithium” battery type, but get a warning 04 - that it can’t communicate. I’ve also tried 08 - Luxpower with the same thing. Ruixu has said these two (or one of the two) should work.

Changed to lead acid, and that worked. Started going through all of the battery types, and option 12 - BYD actually works.

Trying to figure out if I’m going to hurt anything if I leave it on 12 - BYD.

Also, separately, I had to update the 12000XP firmware via the mobile app dongle. When I try to login to the monitor website, I get an error “platform invalid.” Have tried resetting my password to no avail.

Any ideas?

Have you tried Lithium type 6 (Luxpower)? That should work.

Please double-check your username and password to ensure they’re correct. If you'd like, you can share your username with me, and I can reset the password for you and see if that resolves the issue.

@eg4eric thanks so much for the reply!

yes, I have tried Lithium Type 6 (Lux). It still gave me a Warning 04. The only type that works is 12 - I tried each one 1-12.

I actually got the monitor page to work. I had to go back and re-register the dongle with installer code “Signature” and then it worked.

Thanks again for the reply! Would REALLY like to figure out this comms issue.

For what it’s worth, with it set to 12 - BYD, the 12000XP does appear to have the correct SOC, AH for the batteries (1256AH), etc. so it appears to be communicating?
