Thanks everyone for the feedback. For this situation, with some critical loads that don't handle the switching well, it sounds like using a chargeverter and moving the generator from the 6000XP to the charge verter would be the way to go. I was also thinking, this would free up the 6000XP so that we could, if desired, hookup a second generator. What I don't know about that is if I can have two different settings, one for chargeverter generator and the other for the inverter generator. Many of my clients want two generators. Or at least plug for a second generator. The trick to that is usually the settings, since the second generator is typically smaller than the main generator.
