Just got an 18kW with two 14.3 kWh batteries. All running great, except my AC unit, I have two AC's , a Lennox 3 ton and a Trane XV18 4 ton unit. The Trane starts up, runs as if nothing is wrong, but it can not get the house cooled down. Running continuously, I get to 83 degrees at best (I live in Arizona). But then I run the AC continuously and the batteries drain in no time as the AC pulls about 3.5 kW. Air from the registers is about 63-65 degrees. When the batteries get to 20%, the system switches back to grid power. and then the air out of the registers dips to mid 50's and the house easily cools down to below 80 degrees, with the AC nicely cycling on and off. The solar installer says I can possibly not deliver enough current, but even with the AC as only large load (pulling a total of about 4 kW) this is happening. I am thinking that the AC controller might not be happy with the sinewave generated by the EG4. Delivering a high frequency composed sinewave to the power supply of the controller. But that is just a thought.

Anybody seen this or a similar issue? The fix is . . . . .
