Hi All.

I recently setup the EG4-3000EHV-48 and 3 EG4 LL-S Batteries. This half of my system is functioning properly. We installed 5 REC TwinPeak 355W Monofacial Solar Panels. Upon connection to the Inverter the Solar is not showing as recognized on the Inverter. I confirmed that the connection to the inverter is showing 47.5v which should allow for a proper connection to the inverter. Is this possibly a firmware or settings issue?

Thanks in Advance.

How many volts are you getting on the inverter on the PV input?
With those panels you should be getting about 200V of PV.

There is firmware available, but I don't believe this will resolve the issue. The firmware update addresses the inverter working with generators.

Here are some photos I just took using the junctions directly on the inverter itself. The 8.8 is Amps. 44.9 is the Volts.

Here is my screen as well.

I connected to the SmartESS App and it shows Alarm but there is nothing showing in the Alarm section. Unlike the inverter itself which states PV input is 0v the App shows the correct Voltage input though it also confirm that only 1 Watt has processed at this time.

2 different sized splices on the wiring to the panels tripped me up when I installed my setup. Are you sure you used the correct connector when adding wires to the panels?

@shm3lio Couple of questions, have you checked the following:

With a voltmeter - are you getting voltage at the PV wires on the inverter end?

Have you checked the polarity of the wires at the inverter end?
