Smart Ports don't seem to change when on or off, am I missing something? I'd think we'd see status of them in the app and website?

When accessing the monitor site from a web browser, I don't have an option to parallel, and either flexbos or gridboss seem to show the same info. But the mobile app shows a different flow from the website:

And here are the two individual mobile app devices, one has always said offline, even though it seems to work?

Are these just UI issues or do I have something configured wrong maybe?

You can go to the Overview tab on the website, where you should see a button that says parallel.

If you don’t see this option, just let me know and I’ll take care of it for you.

It looks like it's already in parallel. So we need to figure out why it's not showing the correct information.

Were you able to change the DIP switches when you installed the system?

@eric Hey, just checking in, I have both cat5's linked as pictured, and dip switches moved accordingly. Still no Parallel button though.

@michaelahess As shown on the picture I posted. It does show that your system in already in parallel. This is the reason why the button is not showing up. I can remove the inverter and GridBOSS for you and then it will show the parallel button. It should be working now and showing the correct information.

@eg4eric Oh, I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood. In the web portal both devices look identical. So unlike the mobile app, there is no actual Parallel option under station select?

On mobile app, the GridBoss still shows offline, even though the parallel option seems to appear fine. The images I posted originally still appear that way. Is that expected behavior then?

Also, is there a way to tell if the smart ports are on or off?

Thank you for all the help!

@eg4eric Hey Eric, I just updated to the latest firmware on both devices, the mobile app still shows the gridboss as offline, even though the parallel option appears to be working. And wanted to verify if there is a way to see SP status in the app/website. Thanks!

It does look like it is online, but there seems to be no activity. Are you powering loads at this time?
If there was no proper communication the inverter would give an error or warning message.

@eg4eric No loads right now, I'm still testing the system before fully integrating it. This is where it shows offline, only in the Android app:

Do you know which app version you are using?

I'll look into this, but for now you can try this:

  • Log out and log back into the app. (If this doesn't work, go into the next step)
  • Delete the app and reinstall it

@eg4eric version 1.5.4

I logged out, removed the app, rebooted the phone, reinstalled and logged in, same offline message.

I'm using a Pixel 7 Pro with Android 15, build BP1A.250505.005.B1

Let me know if I can provide logs or anything!

I didn't have the inverter dip switches up. Shut everything down, made that change, and I also only had one ethernet cable from the left most porton gridboss to the right on inverter. I plugged another in as shown.

I've waited a few minutes but still show both as parallel:
