I have a Gridboss/18kPV/29kWh whole house battery backup. Twice now on meeting my cut-off discharge set point the system shut down with errors W000 (battery comm failed), W026 (battery under voltage), W027 (battery open circuit). I had to reset batteries and inverter to get things going again.
The first time it happened during normal operations right at my on-grid cut-off SOC set point of 35%. The second time it happened when I tried to bottom balance and SOC hit 0%.
Should that happen? How can I bottom balance the battery without the system shutting down? Do I need to or is top balancing occasionally enough anyways?
