  • Based on FAAB-2626/2525.
  • Match LCD V25.
  • 1. Improved. New England Grid Profile — added regional grid profile support for New England configurations, with Voltage-Active mode disabled by default.
  • 2. Improved. Added RS485 BUS communication support on the Meter485 port for PPL Electric installations.
  • 3. Improved. LUMA Grid Profile: Voltage-Active Power mode enabled by default.
  • 4. Improved. HECO Grid Profile: Frequency-Active Power mode enabled by default; under-excited reactive power set as default.
  • 5. Improved. Optimized charging power limitations when PV power is unbalanced across inverters in a parallel system.
  • 6. Improved. LCD phase setting labels updated from R/S/T to A/B, B/C, C/A (LCD V25).
  • 7. Improved. Update fan logic to start fans at a lower temperature to optimize heat dissipation.
  • 8. Bug Fixes. Fixed repeated switching between on-grid and off-grid modes on the secondary inverter triggered by off-grid cut-off voltage in parallel shared-battery and lead-acid battery mode.
  • 9. Bug Fixes. Reduced probability of repeated state switching between PVBatGridOn and PVChgGridOn.
  • 10. Bug Fixes. Fixed the inability to exit on-grid AC couple charging state and switch to battery discharge when load exceeds AC couple power in a parallel system.

Updated without issue, LCD updated too.

I noticed that the AC Charge Time+SOC/Volt functions correctly now .I.E. it no longer uses grid power for that time frame even though charge SOC/Volt parameter has not been hit.  I am still waiting for my system to hit a full top up on Solar and Grid .

I'm now not seeing this available anymore with EAAB-2525.  I also still see the same issue with updates over the ethernet dongles, they must be disconnected physically and reconnected as they only have the LAN LED lit, not the IP, cloud or INV LEDs.

Hopefully this can be fixed

Unfortunately I was wrong about the Time+SOC/Volt AC charge parameter working correctly . My AC Charge was not enabled , I hope it is on a list to be addressed in the future.

@jckemp3
You're saying that even if the batteries don't hit that start SOC parameters, it still uses grid if it's within the time set?

@eg4eric

Yes, if I have the Time+SOC/Volt enabled no matter what it uses grid power in the scheduled time. I am currently on volt so possible works on SOC but if I recall I had the same problem when I was using SOC.

@jckemp3
I am reporting this to our team so we can test it. Which EG4 inverters do you have and how many for your system?

Are you able to send me a DM with your inverter's serial number so we can look into this for you please?

In the picture below you can see that at 11:00 Grid started to cover consumption. Solar went all to charging battery. This is during my AC Charge time even though I was above my trigger voltage . I do not have PV Charge priority enabled .
