I have never had any issues with my 1200xp inverter its been working for almost a year now and recently just updated to the 0508 firmware and now its fans ramp all the way up and then it triggers over temp alarms even at night! I think there is an issues with the temp cofig Celsius because at night when is cold to the touch, data shows like 62 deg Celcius.

Could you provide your inverter's serial number?
I can attempt to roll back the firmware to 0507 and see if that fixes the issue.

Can you please send me a DM with your contact information Name, Email and Number so we can have one of our team members contact you.
Are you able to get the inverter online?
it looks like ceaa-508 introduced a bug, and did NOT include a fix for open-loop lithium charge control. What will be in 509 ? When ?
...I really need to see a fix that results in a LFP-friendly charge for generic open-loop charge control by voltage that results in the desired CC-CV charge curve. I expect to see battery voltage rise to some Vend-of-charge (56-59v), and then relax to Vfloat (53-54v).
firmware is holding battery voltage at vBulk after charge SHOULD end and settle to float. This is not good for batteries, BMS, or safety.

I see, I will share this with our battery technicians. At the moment, I don't have a date for another the release of the next firmware update.
Yes
@eg4eric News on fix for charging open loop by voltage ? I'd be happy to test. seems like developers should be able to spot the coding difference between the 6000xp which is working correctly, and the 12000xp which is not ?
@dtbaker61
Our team is working on a solution for this. We will let you know when this has been resolved. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
