My gridboss/flexboss21 is not charging as specified. Charge is set to charge using SOC. But does not initiate when minimum level is reached. Flexboss drops into standby mode and load is transferred to grid. Also I have no grid light on gridboss which is always in standby mode. Also I am operating without pv at this time. Three wall mount batteries in service Monitor shows normal grid function. Could use some help resolving these issues

Is the system online so I can review the settings and ensure everything is correct?

@solartom
Have you enabled AC Charge? You can enable it and set it to 20% and let me know if the battery starts charging.

@eg4eric

I’ve been doing a lot of troubleshooting to try to determine the problem of not being able to charge the batteries or use the batteries to carry load. The unit will not stay on, tripping to standby with each reset.

Now when I initiate a restart the batteries pick up load , some internal fans immediately kick on, and after only 5-10 seconds the unit alarms “para sync loss” and trips to standby

i think I have a hardware issue like a bad board or something

Ensure that the cables are properly connected between the inverter and Gridboss, and verify that the DIP switches are set to the 'up' position on both devices.

I apologize for the confusion. You are correct. The inverter DIP switches should be in the up position, and the GridBoss DIP switches should be in the down position.
