Question FAAB-2122 - also ethernet dongle issues

Has anyone else experienced issues with the ethernet dongle not reconnecting with the inverter after a config change or device change such as the firmware update?  I just installed FAAB-2122 and while the device still talks on RS485 just fine, the ethernet dongle and export to the fixed IP on the ethernet dongle isn't working.  It's left with just the 2nd LED on vs all 4.

I don't want to have to physically reconnect the ethernet dongle each time, and the wiz-7500 that it's based on also has a lot fewer features than the wifi dongle, but also seems to just not work correctly, hence me using the rs485 for reliable data in/out of the inverters.

I have several inverters 12kpv and 18kpv and they all exhibit the same behavior.  Any chance we can also get the release notes for this firmware as well?

Or I'm not quite sure, it seems to do the FAAB-21xx update then does the FAAB-xx22 and seems to settle on EAAB-2122 which also feels unusual based on what I saw previously.  Hopefully someone can help make sense of this and why these types of changes always leave just the LAN light on the dongle but disconnect it from the rest of the device and it never recovers without physical interaction.

Can you share a picture of the dongle?

Just to make sure, you are saying every time you update the firmware, this happens.

Here is the changelog for the new firmware.

@jaredmauch Hi Jared,

Yes - i have a parallel set of 18KPVs, each a different hardware version. Using two RJ45 dongles for EG4 support and the site-meaningful comms are two 485 links. Both dongles went offline and required power cycles to restore.

Comms and dongles have been stable for months. I ran both updates simultaneously. Software reboots of the inverters were tried first - dongles unaffected.

All is well after the inverter reboots and dongle power-cycles.
