Well… I just did this update on the XP6000 and now i have error 0 and no power !!! HELP!!!
I had the same issue with the last upgrade. It did not coplete resulting in Error 00 - internal comms error.
Make sure you run the inverter on batteries only - shut the PV off.
It worked for me back then

Thanks for the suggestion Krzysiek, unfortunately, i just tried and it still says error 0.
Anybody else is having issues with the latest XP6000 update? Or any other fix to solve the issue? I am off grid and running a generator on my internet and fridge just to keep being connected if EG4 can fix the issue remotely.
I did the update at least 5 times since last night after the inverter shut down and it just came back on… 15hours later. Anybody had the same issue??
Good to hear you back on.
I guess There is some thing with EG4 equipment firmware updates.... I recently did my Wall mount battery BMS firmware update and it took multiple power cycling for the system to work (see my other post).
Given your experience I am reluctant to jump to new firmware right away as my system finally works as designed again.

@ravasunpower
Is the system back up and running?
If this happens again, I recommend doing a full system reboot. Removing all power sources.
If that doesn't work, I can reinstall the firmware for you.

Do you have PV connected?
I can try the firmware update remotely for you if you'd like.
@eg4eric I do not have PV connected at the moment. All output breaker are off and EPS is off. Please take a look and see if you can resolve this update. Thank you.
@ravasunpower
I'm not sure what that was about. That's the first time I hear this happen. I will definitely be making a note of this!

You do need PV connected to the inverter to update the MPPT part of the firmware.
When I did ccaa-191011 firmware update the first time I had PV disconnected - no issues whatsoever, but the second time when doing the same update on the other inverter with PV on I run into issues "E00 - internal comms fault" and had to repeat the upgrade attempts until it eventually succeeded (I started the attempts during morning hours and it succeeded later in the day when there was enough PV power supplied to the system).
Is this new firmware any different to be dealt with?
