I managed to direct connect via my phone and update the firmware yesterday. But still when I try to connect via eg4 monitor or the web-based interface, it will not read the device info, and I cannot send it commands. Simply does not response. I've tried removing the dongle, reinstalling, shutting off, removing power sources, rebooting the inverter, nothing.

EG4 Monitor gives "unknown error", and web-based interface says "timeout" when trying to read thee info.

but it does manage to show me the battery voltage and grind power. That's it.

Help!!

Trying to reset the dongle, pressed/held the button for 15 seconds til the LED's changed. Connected via bluetooth, and it's still defaulting to a router name that i actually unplugged from internet entirely. I thought that would reset the dongle settings?

Can't get the dongle to update either.

Which lights are on? Which ones are blinking?

Are you connecting it to a 2.4Ghz network?

Yes, 2.4ghz, all 3 were solid green.

I got a hold of Colton last week and he confirmed: dongle=error. He's got a new one shipping out to me.
