How to set up the remote monitoring for a customer? We have numerous customers, i only want them to see their house and not be able to adjust any settings. I monitor all of our customers each morning, but only want them to see their house.

When creating an account for your customer, ensure that your installer code is entered correctly.

After this step, and once the customer is linked to the station, navigate to Configuration > Users, where you'll find a list of end-users associated with your installer code. From there, go to User Management > Edit > Read Only > Update. This will allow the customer to view their station but prevent them from updating or changing any settings.

I don't mean to hijack the thread so if this is inappropriate, please let me know, I will move to a new thread, but I think it applies.

I have installed my own system off grid.  I have some neighbors that have also installed their own systems.  We would like to be able to have "read-only" to each other's systems to help monitor when we are out of town or need to bounce ideas off of each other.

Since we are each set up as a homeowner and not an installer, we do not have access to giving other permissions to our systems.  Is this something that can be done?

Thanks,

JB

@joel-brodeur At the moment, this isn’t available. However, we are always looking for ways to improve the monitoring system and may be able to offer it in the future. It’s definitely something that has been discussed and considered.

That would be fantastic.

Thanks for the information,
