If the batteries get bricked, most likely the wrong firmware was installed. There is a small issue with the data not showing properly, but it will not brick the battery.

I just updated both of my batteries 280 Ah indoor with this latest 485 and 232 and now my monitor is only reporting one battery with weird characters in the battery name.  I guess I'm going to do what others have a revert back to the previous ver.

@caseysweb  I just updated my 3 indoor 280ah batteries with the latest firmware and now I can only read the master battery. What did you do to resolve this?

We apologize for the delay. A new firmware has been released for both indoor and outdoor WallMount Batteries that resolves the display error on the EG4 Monitoring webpage. The firmware is available for download on the EG4 Forum and the EG4 website.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

@eg4eric Thank you, this solved the client issue. We installed and have tested. Forum members should know that it can take 15+ minutes for battery firmware to register with inverter and clear data (in our case we needed to delete the old battery from the list - not sure if it would have removed itself on its own). This should be listed as closed now. A big relief!
