I have a related but different take on this. I have an offgrid install where I am more interested in setting system time up so that the reports consider my "day" to start at 7am as 00:00 in the data. My real time is -7 GMT (mountain standard time in US). Can I accomplish what I want by setting "system time" to 0 GMT, or would it be +7 GMT ?

and.... when would it show up in the monitoring/reports ?

or, do I leave the system set to -7GMT, and set the time in the clock setting ?

what I am finding so far is that the timezone GMT setting will override the clock setting, so the only way to approximate what I want to see for "daily totals" is to set system to -2 GMT, which should make my "midnite" occur 5 hours early, at 7 pm, which will be acceptable since it *should* show the full day's production and consumption in the same "day"... making it easy to see what my battery kWhr in/out is.

part of the reason I want to do this is specifically for off-grid sites to make it easier to get clients to think in terms of actual kWhr rather than unavailable and inaccurate SOC since I am configured open loop battery management by voltage setpoints rather than SOC%
