I have a related but different take on this. I have an offgrid install where I am more interested in setting system time up so that the reports consider my "day" to start at 7am as 00:00 in the data. My real time is -7 GMT (mountain standard time in US). Can I accomplish what I want by setting "system time" to 0 GMT, or would it be +7 GMT ?

and.... when would it show up in the monitoring/reports ?

or, do I leave the system set to -7GMT, and set the time in the clock setting ?

what I am finding so far is that the timezone GMT setting will override the clock setting, so the only way to approximate what I want to see for "daily totals" is to set system to -2 GMT, which should make my "midnite" occur 5 hours early, at 7 pm, which will be acceptable since it *should* show the full day's production and consumption in the same "day"... making it easy to see what my battery kWhr in/out is.

part of the reason I want to do this is specifically for off-grid sites to make it easier to get clients to think in terms of actual kWhr rather than unavailable and inaccurate SOC since I am configured open loop battery management by voltage setpoints rather than SOC%

I am having the same issue. I have to toggle DST on and off, and change my GMT all around to try and get the time to line up. Any update on this fix?

It has been brought to my attention that DST is not working. I have reported this issue and once it's resolved we will make an announcement.

@eg4eric Its been 4+ weeks since we switched off DST.

Has Engineering implemented a solution but not rolled it out?

If the solution needs firmware updates then it would be a huge missed opportunity if this isn't solved in the next release.

I am explicitly asking if engineering has resolved this in-house yet. 😶

Please prioritize this issue. The time needs to be correct for the time based controls to be useful / reliable.
