Good Evening:

Yesterday I added my second indoor wall mount battery to by system.   All appeared to be fine at the end the phone app was showing all to be well.

 This evening I was finally able to sit down at my home computer and use the desktop application to get to the website.  To my amazement I have a totally different display as shown below.  The only recognition that battery #2 even exist is in the name of the battery.

 Can anyone tell me why?  What do I need to do in order to correct the desktop display? I seem to remember seeing descriptions of multiple batteries on others screenshots.  The screenshots of the connections can be found here ==>  The long awaited second Wall Mount Battery Install...

Thanks in advance for your help!

I may have found my answer in another post by another user having the same sort of issue with his 18Kpv.

If this is the wiring I am supposed to have (I too followed the manuals instructions and drawing).

  Then I think my problem is obvious 🤗 , I hope.    I will update tomorrow after I drive out to Mi Casita.

I recommend you call support from the vendor who sold you the battery and inverter.  I had issues adding a 2nd battery and without support I'd have waisted a lot of time.

  1. Update Firmware for all components
  2. Configure batteries for balancing.

Well That didn't go well.

Initiated from where with auto-restart selected.

Result:  Inverter shut down and will not restart.  Drove 60 miles to location thinking it just need a restart.  Not so.  There is no connection to the batteries.  No matter if i set it to "0" as indicated in the manual or to "1" as recommended in the Support section of this site.

 I am currently waiting for the sun to rise to see if I get any power at all.  I made sure setting #19 was enabled to ensure power if available.

 in the meantime i'll get in line....

Is everything working now?

Your batteries appear full at 53V. I recommend switching the system to lead acid and setting the bulk/absorb charge to 56.2V for proper top balancing. If you need assistance or would like me to handle it for you, I'd be happy to help!

@eric

This is where we started:

It is Now! 🙂  Yesterday morning while I was on the phone with Joe Murillo he mentioned that you had suggested same.  After sunrise and power returned to the system; We went through the entire process (including a full shut-down).   As it turned out the upgrade had not completed.  It had only taken a single step.  Joe ran the rest of the series and things were fine. (ccaa-190D0F)

Until;

I tried to start the well pump @ 1400w and the sprinkler pump @950w on at the same time, the inverter would trip off, although each would run individually.  Through some trial and error Joe and I figured out that overlimit calculations were probably incorrect, because we could load the system until one leg or the other reached 1500w.  We let the update sit overnight just to be certain.  Sure enough it tripped in the middle of the night when the shed door blew open and the temp drop caused the heater to come on in the middle of overnight watering.  Game over!

This morning after sunrise, when the power came back on, I called support and had them roll-back to ccaa-190D0E.  This seems to have resolved my issue for the time being.  I was able to water, fill from the well and run the AC without issue so far.

Thank You Joe, Eric, both Ethans and the entire EG4 support team!

@eric   Yes, Please go ahead and make the adjustments now that the system appears to be stable.  Thank You!
