Greetings.
I have 4) EG4-LifePower4 V1 Lithium Battery | 48V 100AH | Server Rack Batteries and
6) EG4-LifePower4 V2 Lithium Battery | 48V 100AH | Server Rack Batteries.  These are connected to a Sol-Ark 12k system.
As we know, Sol-Ark for some reason does not like EG4.  I have no way of monitoring my entire bank.
Has ANYONE had any success?  I have researched all that I can and have had no one able to verify.
Solar Assistant?  anything else?  I have no way to monitor alarms or values.

Thanks All

Drew

You can use BMS TOOLS and BMS TEST to look at the battery details and information.

For the Lifepower-V2 you can use BMS TOOLS using the RS-485 cable (pins 1 & 2) if you don't have this cable let me know and i can provide one for you.

@eric Yes, but only 1 v2  battery at a time.  I need to monitor all of all of them.
If there is a battery with a problem there is no way for me to know if the alarm clears on it's own.
How can i be able to monitor v1, but no way to look at all of the v2's ???? seems like something has been overlooked?

@yachtdr22 You should be able to view all Lifepower-V2 batteries by setting the first V2 battery as the master and assigning different IDs to the rest of the V2 batteries. However, you are correct—at this time, it's not possible to view detailed information for both battery versions simultaneously. You can view some of battery details through the monitoring website. However, you would need to have a DJ, BJ, BG, or BE dongle. You will be able to see the battery information for the Lifepower-V2 but I believe the Lifepower-V1 will not show the correct information as of now.

Let me know if you would like to give this a try.

@yachtdr22 I apologize for confusion, I didn't notice that you had a Sol-Ark system. This would only work with an EG4 system.

At this time, no. However, if anything changes, I will let you know.
