@dtbaker61
Thank you, I will share this with our team! I believe our team is working on adding Lithium Type 31 to the 12000XP as well.
@eg4eric , you might want to change the subjest line of this thread.... I don't think 0709 is the latest anymore, right ?
I know that the version ceaa-00080A I installed on a client 12000xp mostly fixed the open-loop float issue, but I don't know if you officially released that ?
I would suggest a dedicated thread with a general subject like "Latest 12000xp firmware and release notes" where you could log the date released, and major bug fixes and enhancements. It would be helpful for reference so people could see when their high priority issues are addressed, when (date), and what firmware number was...
It sure would be nice to have a "living document" for release notes and dates for issues fixed, or known outstanding bugs not fixed yet to help developers prioritize.
I have latest FW for 6000xp (ccaa-1E1414), but only Lead Acid works for open loop, there is no lithium type 31 to select.
Just FYI

@krzysiek_kta , you can make it work open loop with type=lead acid and managing by desired voltage setpoints.
That is exactly what I have been doing to top balance the cells in my wall mount battery or when there were some BMS comms issues.
Thx.

The firmware 0709 is still the latest available firmware. The firmware you were given has not a publicly released at this time.
I do appreciate the feedback regarding a dedicated firmware and release notes thread! Thank you!
well, if you want to release a fix for open-loop float, you might consider officially releasing the beta test firmware version ceaa-00080A, and or test/release a version that has a "selectable" choice for open-loop LFP managed by voltage.
I can say that the version ceaa-00080A does a decent job holding to float as desired, but does have a few occasional blips back up to Bulk under certain conditions. It's hard for me to tell, but it appears to occur on partially cloudy days when there are loads exceeding pv production and then the sun comes back out. The system seems to "re-bulk", and then drop to float.
I can live with current behavior, but it would be preferable if "rebulk/rebalance" only occurred after Vbatt<52.8, or Vpv <48 for more than 2 hours indicating "night". I'd hope for Vbatt to be maintained at float +/- .5 v afternoons when battery is full and sun is still out
