I don't know way this setting is not present in any eg4 inverter like in many other brand inverters. This makes the inverter go back and forth from grid to battery many times. Click, click, click. Possibly damaging internal relays. We should have the option of choosing when to come back to battery mode like when battery charge back up all the way to 90% or 100%

You can enable AC Charging, which allows the batteries to charge from the grid up to the specific percentage you set.

@eg4eric this is no solution AC Charge will have you pay for more grid use. All is needed is a software update that will enable when to go back yo battery more and not the default 10% or 3V. I would prefer to have the system wait until solar is back available and charging to a certain % then go back to battery mode!

This is nothing new many inverters have this option like the attached picture from a manual!

Another Solution is to expand your battery bank.

What size is your array and how many batteries are you using for your system?
