So, i had the Chargeverter again on 1 Amps from 2 hours, then 4 hours with 5 Amps. I had to stop because of the rain but in a nutshell, i had the chargeverter for about 9 hours. After i disconnected it, the battery voltage dropped down to 0 volts again. The BMS display never turned on.

Do i really need to continue trying to charge this battery? I believe it is dead and i am very frustrated because the system is only a few months old. Any other fix i can try before the owner ask for a new battery from EG4?

Yes, I would recommend for them to contact their distributor. I'm not sure why it isn't turning on after charging it for so long. If the battery is only a few months old, it should be covered under warranty.

After having the tech from Out Island Solar come and inspect the system, he confirmed that the battery was not charged or charging and I just sent them an email to Signature Solar on behalf of the owner asking for the next steps to have the battery replaced under warranty. We shall see how long it takes…
