@eg4eric Ever since updating my 18kpv to FAAB-2525 I've seen way more flickering. Might give support a call, but wondering if there are any settings that most likely impacts this symptom?
@bobandroslyn
If you have Seamless EPS switching enabled, you can try disabling it to see if that helps. As of now, I don't know any other settings that could be causing this. Is there a specific time this happens?
For example, does it happen more when it switches from PV to battery, or only when it's using battery or all the time?
@eg4eric More while we're on battery. I'll switch off Seamless EPS and see if that makes a difference.
@bobandroslyn
Any warnings or errors?
I recommend double checking your settings, make sure everything is configured correctly, for example AC charge, or PV priority, etc.
I would also, make sure there are no loose cables on the inverter, that could cause lights flickering.
Lastly, you can always perform a full system shut down by removing Grid power, PV power and Battery power so the whole system shuts down completely. Then waiting a minute or so, and turning everything back on in reverse order. Batteries first, PV next, lastly adding Grid back to the system.
@eg4eric More testing is needed.
Anecdotally changing the Seamless EPS doesnt seem to make a difference. I'll do more testing. I wonder if there's any data that the EG4 stores that would help correlate a flicker to some data point in the inverter?
I'll also check the connections. I know that is best practice for systems maintenance over time. I'll do a system shutdown as part of that process.
I know there are also environmental variables such as discussed by Ray Loveless in his video
Thank you for following up.

Correct, it could even also be the light bulbs but let me know if you find anything. I'll keep looking into this and ask our team what other things can cause this flickering.
I myself am having flickering issues. Been trying to figure out the issue but no luck. Checked resistance in various places per EG4 tier 2 with no luck. Figured I would just live with it.
I would make sure you don't have a shared neutral somewhere in a switch or half-hot outlet.
I had the same issue until I found one in a half-hot/switched outlet .
The flickering LED was incredibly annoying . Old houses can have all kinds of fun stuff hidden.
I have 6000xp and have some flickering too. The inverter was RMA replaced and status is the same. Yet I managed to identify the culprits - the 'dirty' loads:
- The Keurig K-cup Coffee maker - the worst - like in video
- The Midea U-shape window AC - 9k BTU - mild - at any load
- The Midea U-shape window AC - 12k BTU - slightly at full load
I guess anything with fluctuating loads can affect inverter especially when close to top load of the circuit (L1 or L2) - at least in my case. with 18k inverter i imagine is not so easy to reach load limit per circuit ( L1, L2)....
I have retightened all neutrals in my main and sub panels and it helped a bit.
Just my 5 cents
