Are you trying to have closed loop communication or just open loop (charge/discharge by voltage)?
If you have it connected, the inverter should be detecting voltage. Make sure the battery breaker and the breaker on the inverter is on.
I have Epert power 48v and I can't get it to communicate with 6000xp
@eg4eric says it supports can and rs485 ?
I'm also interested in these. https://www.eco-worthy.com/products/eco-worthy-51-2v-100ah-lifepo4-lithium-battery-5-12kwh-capacity-server-rack-battery
maybe the battery code needs to be configured on the eg4? or its not connected properly
You can try protocol Lithium 6 (Luxpower) on the inverter and set the protocol to Luxpower on the battery.
